Ecoset is not yet registered as a formal legal entity. Until that changes, references to Ecoset, Spacient, we, us, and our mean the individuals and team operating the service. This policy needs qualified legal review before paid public launch.
Spacient and related services may collect contact details, account information, organization details, project intake, site survey information, property addresses, floor plans, room layouts, occupancy context, accessibility needs, budget, timeline, existing devices, Wi-Fi details, installation preferences, support messages, and technical logs. Some of this can reveal sensitive details about a home, workplace, routines, accessibility needs, or building systems.
We use information to operate Spacient, create and manage projects, prepare smart-space plans, support users, manage device catalog and audit workflows, communicate about demos and services, secure accounts, process billing where enabled, troubleshoot issues, and improve product workflows. We should not use sensitive project or site data for unrelated advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
Floor plans, site notes, electrical and HVAC details, network details, accessibility needs, and room layouts should be treated as sensitive. Users should only submit project or property information they have permission to provide, and should avoid unnecessary personal details.
Spacient may use automated or rules-based features for planning, scoring, summarization, or workflow support. Outputs are drafts that need human review before purchasing devices, installing hardware, performing safety-related work, changing building systems, or relying on recommendations for code, accessibility, or compliance decisions.
We may share information with service providers that host, authenticate, store, process, secure, or support the service; payment processors when billing is enabled; contractors, installers, technicians, or professional partners when authorized for a project; customer organization members according to permissions; device manufacturers, distributors, or vendors when needed for quotes or compatibility; and legal or safety parties when required by law.
We and our providers may use cookies, local storage, session storage, logs, and similar technologies for sign-in, security, preferences, prototype data, billing, and diagnostics. We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Exact retention periods for production backups, logs, inactive accounts, floor plans, and archives should be finalized before launch.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent, opt out of marketing, or opt out of sale/sharing if those activities ever occur. For Canadian users, Ecoset should follow Canadian privacy principles. For United States users, state privacy rights may apply depending on legal thresholds. Service providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other countries. Spacient is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
